4. Question regarding ECM in FW - in Warfare & Tactics [original thread]
It's not just fleet war. Flying ECM in any type of fleets or gangs is just asking to be primaried. I only fly ECM because I'm an attention ho. I have no experience to share in solo PvP, though.

I'll echo the advice to PvP in frigates until you feel you've outgrown them. Then, I'd echo the advice to try the Scorpion. Great PvP ship, just be prepared to be primaried, in gangs.
